Registration for 2010-2011 Swimming Season
There have been many regsitrations flowing in to the team recently, and so much so, that certain Pre-Competitive groups have already begun to fill up.
We have mailed out all of the forms for re-registration for last season’s swimmers on the team. If you are one of those individuals, and have yet to receive your registration packages, then please contact us and let us know so that we can ensure that you have the registration package to help you along. All returning Pre-Competitive and Competitive swimmers will have a priority registration process which allows them to sign up for the 2010-2011 swimming season prior to accepting new swimmers on to the team. Watch your mail for more info to come soon. Registration for returning swimmers will be accepted by mail, fax (250-804-2604) or in person at the Community Registration Day taking place at the SASCU Auditorium on Monday September 13th from 3:00-6:00 pm. We look forward to hearing back from all of you soon!
New Registrations:
We will begin accepting new registrations for the September 2010 session of Pre-Competitive programming after our Rookie Camp in September 2010. All swimmers wishing to join the program must be assessed first by one of the Shuswap Swimming Team coaches. Contact us now for a Free assessment.
Summer Break
We are taking a break for the summer now that the 2009-2010 swimming season has come to a close. Our season was very successful, with all sorts of highlights, and we encourage you to check out both the Swim Meet Results and Team Records sections of our website for more info. Thank you to everyone from the newest swimmers, up to our Provincial medalists and all of our parents and coaches for making our 3rd season very successful and memorable. We are looking forward to starting up again in September 2010 for the 2010-2011 swimming season. See you at the pool soon!
Swim Meet Results: 2010
We hope that you are following the progress of our swimmers at recent meets, and encourage you to check them out. We have had many team records falling at the Youth aged swim meets (see the Swim Meet Results section of our website) and the Masters Swim meets have been exciting too as there were 10 National records that fell over the course of the past 2 swim meets (check out the Masters Swimming section of the website for more details on those results). Great swimming team!
New Member Registrations
All new swimmers must be evaluated by a Shuswap Swimming Team coach prior to registration. All registration is based upon a first come first serve basis for all spaces available on the team.
Shuswap Swimming Masters Team had a good first season, and we are looking forward to an even better one starting in September 2010! This has replaced the programs for the Salmon Arm Waves. For more information, please go to our Masters Swimming Section of the website.
Here at Shuswap Swimming, it is our intention to provide every swimmer the opportunity to improve their skills, confidence and success in the pool, through a focus on swimming technique, hard work, commitment and dedication from the coaches, the athletes and their support networks. Shuswap Swimming will help teach, refine and guide athletes through the process of becoming a leader in the pool and out. Our long term mission is to become the best swim team in British Columbia for populations of 100,000 people or less.
Shuswap Swimming is a member organization of Swim BC, and Swimming Canada.
